Legal with restrictions
Massachusetts adults 21 or older may possess, purchase, or transfer without payment up to two ounces under an April 2026 law and may grow up to six plants per person, capped at twelve per residence with multiple adults. Public consumption is prohibited, and municipalities may regulate licensed businesses.
