Legal with restrictions
Adults 21 or older may buy regulated cannabis from licensed New Jersey dispensaries, possess up to six ounces, and gift up to one ounce without compensation. A retail transaction is capped at one ounce-equivalent, and current law does not authorize personal cultivation.
