Legal with restrictions
Adults 21 or older may lawfully possess up to two ounces of cannabis or 10 grams of hashish, buy up to two ounces or its product equivalent per licensed-retailer transaction, make limited unadvertised noncommercial transfers, and cultivate two mature and four immature plants. Act 176 made the two-ounce/10-gram possession and two-ounce retail limits effective July 1, 2026.
